When you enter a name or case number into an embedded third-party search box, that input goes to the provider running the search. The provider processes it and returns results. We do not store or log those search terms on our end. Links to official West Virginia Judiciary search systems open separate services with their own policies.

If you send us an email, we keep that message so we can reply. Your message stays within our team. We will not share it with anyone outside our organization unless a legal obligation requires it.

This site does not host, maintain, compile, or sell databases of court dockets or personal case-record information. It publishes general guidance about West Virginia court records and directs readers to the appropriate court. Public Circuit case information is available through WVPASS; Magistrate case information is in a separate Judiciary search with no online documents. The court or clerk that holds the case maintains its official record. This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or records about other people.
Third-Party Search Partners
Search boxes on this site are powered by outside companies. Anything you enter into those tools is processed under the partner's own privacy policy, not this one. Those partners set their own data-retention and sharing practices, and we do not control them. Review the partner's policy before submitting a search.
